Stolen quiz :P

Tue Jul 14, 2009, 4:17 PM
  • Mood: Lonely
  • Listening to: Wind in the trees
  • Reading: The Lord of the Rings
  • Playing: World of Warcraft
  • Eating: Peshwari Naan
  • Drinking: Water
Saw this quiz on :iconkrayt1138: 's journal and decided it might be interesting (to me, anyway...)

1. Soooo... What's your character's name?
I have many, but I guess I'll do this for Pelana.

2. Now what's his/her 's damage? There must be something wrong with the (wo)man.
Lets see... Depends which book you mean, it gets worse as you go on. From the start though: Husband dead, child stillborn, womb damaged so she can't ever have any children.

3. Anything good about your character?
Dangerous in battle, up close or from a distance. Brilliant tactical mind and natural leadership skills. Plus she's a mean gardener. :P

4. What's your character's world like?
Pre-industrial, pagan, beautiful, unfortunately currently torn by conflict.

5. Does he/she have any significant others? Would he/she make an ideal partner for anyone?
No. She loves her friends unconditionally, but romantically she's never loved another since her husband's death.

6. What does your character do when he/she is upset?
Tries to find a way out of the upsetting situation. Or if there is no way out, she might pray or just cry for a while.

7. What kind of occupation does your character have?
Well, she was a gardener, but then she becomes an archer (and the leader of the most dangerous bunch of women her world has ever seen).

8. What is your character afraid of?
Illness. Not surprising given it kills a lot of people in her world (including her husband).

9. Is your character satisfied with who he/she is?
Mostly, yes. She was a little bored before the war (she's too damn smart for gardening) but once she's being challenged, she's happy.

10. What's your character's idea of a good time?
Pottering around the garden making things grow, then doing some archery practice with her friends. Or, at the other end of the scale; out-thinking an enemy in order to triumph over improbable odds.

11. Your character is alone in a restaurant, starving to death, and someone's left a delicious juicy burger behind. He/she knows it's somebody else's because the person wrote a note asking your character NOT to eat the burger. What do they do?
Eat it. Duh. Survival first, apology later.

12. Actually, your character wasn't alone in the last question. He/she just notices a police officer is watching the burger rather intently. In fact, it's probably the police officer's burger. What would your character do now?
Depends. If it was a city guard, and he was hungry too, she'd share. If it was a Special (evil dudes from 3rd book)she'd kill him, and rifle his pockets for more food.

What would your character do if he/she..
1. Had to fight off a pack of five-year olds?
Keep them back, gently, or maybe run away. She likes children.

2. Was stuck in a foreign country where he/she didn't speak the local lingo?
Avoid the people and head for the border, or get by with hand gestures etc.

3. Was hit by a basket of Atlantic salmon?
Thank the Gods for a free lunch.

4. Had to save the world?
Been there, done that. Well, her country at least, and that pretty much counts as her world.

5. Was dropped into the middle of a busy street in the modern world?
Be terrified and intrigued at the same time. And probably wonder if Morgana had given her funny mushrooms again...

Does your character like…
1. Stripclubs? No such thing. She's not keen on brothels though.
2. Birthdays? No such thing, unless you cound Year day, and she likes those a lot (yay, alcohol!).
3. Sunsets? Loves them.
4. Flesh-eating diseases? Hates and fears.
5. Democracy? No such thing, or not in her country. She agrees with it in principle, but doesn't think Jarda needs it.

Would your character ever…
1. Get Facebook? Nope. She keeps her friends close, and her enemies dead.
2. Be loved? Sure, all the time, just not in a romantic way.
3. Read Shakespeare? She'd love it.
4. Breakdance? No chance. She's a fair dancer though.
5. Push someone into a swamp? Yes. It's a common prank among her friends. And for an enemy, yes, because it would give her an immediate tactical advantage. (Plus it hides the bodies really well...)

Haha! Really? I didn't think you were bothered. Ok, I'll edit and post the next section.
Where's the next section of Rust? (Not that I haven't read it... exhaustively and with great brain-melting frustration, lol!)

Coming up soon, I just need to change two or three bits. Introducing the Dragon could well be tricky...
